Diaper drive underway

YUKON — The Yukon Friends of the Park are helping gather diapers for The Children’s Center in Bethany as part of an annual diaper drive, which runs until New Year’s Day. The center uses 1,400 diapers per day and 10,000 in one week. The center has asked that donated diapers be either Huggies or Pampers.

Drop off diapers at these Yukon locations: P&R offi ce, 532 W Main; Robertson Activity Center, 1200 Lakeshore Drive; Jackie Cooper Gym, 1024 E Main; or the Community Center, 2200 S Holly. For more information, call 350-8937.

Market hosts food drive

Whole Foods Market Oklahoma City, 6001 N Western Ave., is hosting their sixth annual holiday food and register drive to benefi t Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Whole Foods Market shoppers can add a monetary donation to their total when buying groceries, or purchase and donate nonperishable items. The holiday drive runs to Dec. 14.

Giving campaign continues

As part of its mission to serve youth and families in Oklahoma, Youth Services for Oklahoma County (YSOC) continues “12 Days of Giving.”

The campaign runs through Dec. 12. During the 12 Days of Giving campaign, donors may make a fi nancial donation online at ysoc.org.

YSOC also is requesting donations of granola, cereal and breakfast bars, beef jerky, fruit snacks, men’s and women’s underwear and nonperishable microwave meals. These donations can be dropped off during business hours at any of the following locations: Ruth Meyers, 6471 Avondale Drive; Pierce, Couch, Baysinger & Green, LLP, 1109 N Francis; Youth Services for Oklahoma County, 201 NE 50th; Farmer’s Insurance, 7340 W Memorial; Anglin PR, 720 NW 50th; and Price Lang Consulting, 2000 E 15th Street, Building 300, Edmond.
