Interfaith organization schedules discussion on same-sex marriage

The national president of the Interfaith Alliance Foundation will be part of a panel discussion on same-sex marriage from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Will Rogers Center, 4322 N Western.

The Rev. C. Welton Gaddy, president of the alliance foundation based in Washington, D.C., will be one of four panelists featured in “A Different Way of Talking About Same-Gender Marriage: A Call to Quiet Conversations and Public Debate.”

The event, sponsored by the Interfaith Alliance of Oklahoma, is free and open to the public.

Other panelists are state Sen. Andrew Rice, DOklahoma City; Sandy Ingraham of Ingraham & Associates; and Don Holladay, founding partner of Holladay & Chilton.

The moderator is Phyllis E. Bernard, professor of law and director of the Center on Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Oklahoma City University School of Law.
